This is a blog about people.

My name is Tom Wagenmakers. Currently, I’m a PhD student in Political Science, who happens to travel a lot. I also take pictures. A lot.

People are what makes this life we all live interesting, which is why on my pictures you will most probably always find a human being.

Since I’m interested in politics, my posts will probably have a political dimension to them, but travelling has taught me that everywhere, from Germany to Mongolia, people are the same. It doesn’t matter which regime is in charge, people will still be kind to you.

That is why I try to portray people in their circumstances. Their perspectives, their ideas, their life.
